Blunt tip trocars are a type of disposable trocar that offer atraumatic blunt obturators, stable fixation, and excellent port site sealing when performing the Hasson technique. They are simple to adjust and easy to use and are available in two models - with a latex and latex-free balloon. These trocars can be used for minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, where the puncture level can be observed in real-time through the display, making it more safe and controllable.
SurgSci BluntPass Trocars are available in two sizes, with diameters of 10mm and 12mm, and a length of 100mm. The non-bladed obturator points push the tissue out of the way instead of cutting it, reducing penetration damage and shortening recovery time. The main features of SurgSci BluntPass include an ergonomic trocar handle, a double-seal structure and blunt puncturing tip.
The ergonomic trocar handle can fit perfectly into the hand, offering superior comfort and stability. It allows for easy rotation during insertion. The trocar is also designed with a double-seal structure, including a detachable petal-shaped seal and a one-way four-pointed-star-shaped sealing valve. This structure can accommodate the entry of instruments of different sizes while ensuring that the pneumoperitoneum is maintained during operation. Additionally, the rounded blunt tip can avoid damage to the abdominal wall during insertion and is suitable for secondary puncture.
