▌General Introduction:

Hassonpass trocars are available in two sizes: 10mm and 12mm diameters.

The obturator tip is blunt and rounded to gently push the tissue apart during penetration to avoid damaging the abdominal wall.

The trocar has an adjustable conical sleeve and suture-holding arms for fixation.

The suture is twined and fastened to the suture-holding arms to make the cannula settled on the abdominal wall.

 

▌Main Characters:

1. The Hasson technique employs a unique blunt trocar-cannula that consists of a blunt trocar, an adjustable conical sleeve cannula, and suture-holding arms for fixation.

2. The cone suture post is adjustable and has suture holders on both sides. The cannula is secured to the abdominal wall by wrapping and securing the suture to the cone suture post.

3. The obturator tip is blunt and rounded, gently pushing tissue aside to prevent damage to the abdominal wall during penetration. It is suitable for use in secondary punctures.

4. The Hassonpass has a special advantage in its olive-shaped obturator handle, which allows for controlled application of force during rotation and introduction.
