Trocar access is a popular practice among laparoscopic surgeons. This technique facilitates the tissue layers being inspected prior to insertion. As a result, organ injury can be avoided, and needless to say, air leakage problems are often minimized for obese patients.
The Endopass visible tip optical disposable laparascopic is a leader in this field. Having been CE marked and built following ISO 13485 standards, it is designed specifically for abdomen puncturing and gas supply during surgery. What's more, a set of optical trocars with visible tips are made available in 7 different sizes. These include diameters of 5mm, 10mm, and 12mm, and lengths of 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm.

The optical trocars we designed have the features as follows:
The Stable Thread Design features an inverted tooth design, which creates a thread-shaped surface. This helps to increase sleeve fixation on the abdominal wall, stopping the instrument from sliding when entering or withdrawing it from the sleeve.
The None-Bladed Transparent Tip Design separates the tissues, eliminating the need to cut them. This reduces the risk of damage. Its transparent conical head gives clear visual feedback when the endoscope is entering through the obturator, assisting with avoiding blindness insertion and organ injuries.
The Endoscope Secure Lock is easy to operate and used to secure the endoscope from sliding. It increases stability while visualising.
Using stainless steel needle instead of plastic gives the trocar extra durability.
