Trocars are a surgical technique used in minimally invasive, laparascopic procedures. The Endopass Visible Tip Optical Disposable Laparascopic Trocar is CE marked and manufactured under ISO 13485 quality system. Manufactured specifically for single-use, these products are designed for puncturing the abdominal cavity and supplying gas for laparoscopic surgeries.
The uniquely designed trocar allows for visualization of each tissue layer being pierced during the process. This helps to reduce the risk of organ injury, as well as helping minimize any potential air leaks at the trocar site during the procedure, even when dealing with obese patients.
The trocars come in 7 different sizes ranging from 5mm to 12mm in diameter, and lengths of 75 mm, 100mm, and 150mm. Each one is designed to maximize clinical outcomes in the given laparascopic procedure.
