Main Features of SurgSci Laparoscopic Bladed Trocar
The disposable bladed trocar has an ergonomic obturator design, which fits better into the user's palm. This makes it more comfortable to hold and puncture. Additionally, it has a 45 degree bevel-cut tunnel head, allowing easy specimen removal and increased maneuverability. Furthermore, with the secure button controls, are two modes; safe mode and puncture mode. In safe mode, the blade is detained in the shield, while in puncture mode the blade is pushed out, and after removing the specimen, is retracted back into the shield, in order to prevent any injuries to organs.
The unique blade design has a shield on both ends, preventing potential abrasions before insertion. Additionally, it retracts back into the shield once it enters the peritoneum automatically for safety purpose. The thread cannula is also designed with inverted tooth structure, which ensures the trocar firmly stays fixed on the abdominal wall during operation. Finally, there is a durable layer sealing structure, guarantying a zero air leakage. Furthermore, it has finger rests, designed with a concave fit to the fingers, which enables enough space for the surgeon to rotate the trocar during puncture.

For instance, it can be used in cholecystectomy (gall bladder surgery), nephrectomy(removal of the kidneys), radical prostatectomy (total removal of the prostate gland, radical resection of rectal carcinoma (cancer originating in the rectal lining), hysterectomy, bariatric (weight-loss) and appendectomy.
